Research-use scope. This page explains documents and terminology. It is not for use in people or animals, contains no handling or procedural guidance, and does not replace the receiving laboratory's own acceptance criteria.
The chain, step by step
- Lot identification. Each production lot receives an identifier (for example
BCP-2502-B) that is printed on every vial label from that lot. - Independent analysis. A sample from the lot is submitted to an independent testing laboratory. The laboratory performs the analyses it reports (for published lots, chromatographic purity by HPLC) and issues a certificate with its own certificate number.
- Library entry. The report is published in the batch COA library with the product, labeled strength, lot, reported result, test date, certificate number, the PDF, and the laboratory's verification link. Each report also gets its own page (example).
- Listing status. The product listing states whether a lot-matched report is currently published. Listings without one say so rather than borrowing a report from another product, strength, or lot.
- Verification. A purchaser can confirm the certificate number on the laboratory's verification page and compare the identity, lot, date, and result with the PDF (how to verify).
Rules the library follows

| Nothing beyond the report | The site states what the report lists and does not extrapolate to attributes that were not tested. |
What is not claimed
- A report describes one sample of one lot on one date; it is not a statement about every vial ever sold under the name.
- A purity result says nothing about attributes the method did not measure.
- Publication of a report does not establish suitability for any particular laboratory procedure; the receiving laboratory remains responsible for its own acceptance criteria.
