Peptide Sciences was one of the largest research peptide suppliers in the United States. It closed in March 2026. LumaLex Law published a third-party note on the closure.
If you ordered from it, you are now choosing a new supplier, often one you have never bought from. The checks below take a few minutes each. None of them need a lab background, and all of them can be done before you pay.

What to check in any supplier
Run these on any supplier you are considering, including us. Each one has a clear pass and a clear fail, and none depends on taking the seller's word.
A report for the exact lot you will receive
A certificate of analysis describes one sample from one production lot. A generic sheet that never changes between orders tells you nothing about what ships.

The lot number on the report matches the vial label
The lot number is the only thing that ties a report to the vial in your hands. Find it on the report before you order. Find it again on the label when the parcel arrives.

The report is published before the lot is sold
A report posted before a batch goes on sale is a record. A report produced after a customer asks is a response. You should be able to read it before checkout, without an account or an email request.

An independent report names the laboratory, carries a certificate number you can look up with that laboratory, states the method next to the result, and shows the test date.

You should know where your parcel ships from, and you should get a tracking number when the label is created, not when you ask for one.

A legal company name you can look up, a support email that gets answered, and published return terms. If you cannot tell who you are buying from, you cannot hold anyone to anything.

What these checks cannot tell you
- A report describes a sample, not your parcel. The laboratory tested material from the lot, not the vial that reaches you. That is why matching the lot number on the label is a step you do yourself.
- Paperwork says nothing about service. How quickly an order ships and how a problem gets handled are things you learn from one order, not from a PDF.
- Passing every check is not a guarantee. It means a supplier's claims are set up so they could be caught being wrong. That is the most any page, this one included, can show you before you buy.
